Located 45 minutes to an hour north of Atlanta, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a 27-hole course in Gainesville, Georgia. The course is open to the public and has three nine-hole courses. The greens were in good shape and the fairways were in good shape. The course was not overly crowded on a Saturday afternoon. There were several greens that needed work, and several that were rough. There were also several holes with water that came into play. This is a nice course for those who like to take their time and enjoy their golf.

There are several different tee boxes available for different skill levels. The course was fun to play and I enjoyed the fact that I was playing with a group of locals. They were very friendly and helpful. They had a great time on the course and treated every putt like a billion dollar game.

There are two lakes that come into play on two holes. The golf course has a great hilly layout. The greens are large, but they aren’t as big as they look.
